Where can I place combustible waste?
The combustible waste is placed in the combustible waste bin at home. Bulky combustible waste can be brought to the recycling stations; items that do not fit in the waste bin at home (i.e. carpets, skis, plastic chairs). You can leave a maximum of 3 m³ of combustible waste at the recycling station at a time. Larger quantities are delivered to the waste centre in Teuva.
What happens to the combustible waste?
The combustible waste is incinerated at the waste-to-energy plant Westenergy where it is converted into electricity and district heating.
