Botniarosk Photo Competition 2027: Nature’s Hidden Treasures
Botniarosk’s photo competition is an annual competition with a new theme each year and is open to everyone. The competition period for the 2027 wall calendar is 1 January–15 September 2026.
Of all the entries submitted, 12 photographs will be selected to illustrate the months of our traditional wall calendar, which is distributed to all Botniarosk customers. The selected photographs will each receive a €50 prize.
In addition, a vote will be held on Botniarosk’s Facebook page to select the calendar cover image. The winner of the vote will receive €100. One €100 gift voucher will also be drawn among all participants in the vote.

Photograph your favourite landscape or a beloved detail of nature, such as plants, fungi or animals, and send your photo to us!
The photographs
- The photographs must be taken outdoors within Oy Botniarosk Ab’s operating area, namely in the municipalities of Bötom, Kaskö, Kauhajoki, Kristinestad, Närpes, Storå and/or Östermark.
- The photographs must be in landscape format and have a high resolution to ensure a high-quality final product.
- People are welcome to appear in the photographs, but their faces do not need to be visible and there is no limit to the number of people – it can be one person or a larger group. If people appear in the photograph, their consent must be obtained before the photograph is submitted to the competition.
Submit your entry
- The photographs must be submitted in digital JPEG format.
- Name the files according to the month in which the photograph was taken, followed by your own name.
- Photographs must be submitted by 15 September 2026 to . Please use “Photo Competition 2027” as the subject of the email.
Rules
- You may enter a maximum of three photographs.
- Photographs submitted before the competition period begins or after it has ended will not be considered.
- The photographer’s name will be stated in the wall calendar alongside the published photograph.
- Botniarosk reserves the right to edit the photographs where necessary before publication.
