Fabric waste include clothing and home textiles that cannot be placed in the collection bin for discarded textiles:

socks
carpets
underwear
rainwear and galoshes
clothing made of leather and imitation leather
padded textiles such as duvets and headgear
foam rubber mattresses
plush toys
wet, dirty, mouldy and strong smelling textiles
textiles containing pests
Where can you recycle fabric waste?
Fabric waste can be placed in the combustible waste bin or taken to a recycling station.
In May and August, there are stunt days organised at the recycling stations, during these days fabric waste can be delivered to a recycling station free of charge.
